Well, our domain name introduces you to one half of us. The other (and perhaps better ) half is Rashmi Upasani. Rashmi hails from Pune, India, and after completing her M.Pharm in Pune, she earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Mercer University in August 2005. She has worked as a Group Leader at the contract research firm Catalent Pharma Solutions.
Rashmi's interests, other than research, include reading, playing badminton, swimming, watching mushy-dushy movies, and gaming.
The other half is Swanand Mokashi, also from Pune, India. Swanand is the founder and CEO of the software consulting company Malaika Consultants LLC. Malaika Consultants offers web design and web hosting services, along with consulting in ASP.NET / C# / SQL Server, WordPress, and eCommerce projects.
Swanand's interests, other than programming, include following the US financial markets, physical training, photography, and gaming. Swanand has a Master's (yeah, yeah, yeah) in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD.NET) and Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD.NET).
Both of us love traveling and water sports.
We got married on the 25th of April, 2001, and are enjoying married bliss . After a few years living in Atlanta, we decided that Georgia was no longer on our mind, and moved to the state of the first flight: North Carolina. We enjoy the proximity to both the beach and the mountains from Cary, NC.
We are truly blessed to be parents of our two beautiful daughters: Malaika and Sanaa.
